In an attempt to diversify network programming, REVOLT launched Funny AF, its first stand-up comedy series. The REVOLT brand color scheme is red, black and white, so we wanted to establish a distinct difference between Funny AF's visual approach. After playing with just about every color on the wheel, we decided that yellow offered the most pop for our new linear and digital property by being light-hearted and bold.
Below is the logo for Funny AF. The A & F were designed the be animated separately to reinforce the meaning of the acronym.
The Funny AF show open highlights what some of the potential titles could've been, all while reinforcing the acronym and overall show branding. Each show uses the closing mortise as an opportunity to highlight that particular episode's featured comedians.
FUNNY AF SHOW OPEN
The FUNNY AF launch spot was created to inform REVOLT viewers that a comedy show was on the horizon. Instead of doing something conceptual, we decided that a clip-based spot would give potential viewers a glimpse of exactly what they could expect- allowing them to grasp the overall essence of the show.

The below conceptual spot was built with both Linear A social in mind. the 15 second duration make sit easily sharable and portable and resulted in over 400 k likes and shares.
