I worked hard at shaping every creative aspect of the REVOLT Summit. I wanted it to feel creative from day 1, and to really go places where previous music conferences were afraid to go. From the logo, poster art, digital screens and build-out, the REVOLT Summit was designed to entice creative enthusiasts, and to educate them while they're there.
Sizzle Reel To Secure Partnership Deal with AT&T
The REVOLT Music Conference was an event that allowed music and media professionals the opportunity too connect and exchange ideas through the lens of hip hop. In revamping the REVOLT Music Conference, which eventually was rebranded into the REVOLT Summit, we at REVOLT realized that we needed to partner with a strong company who could support us on a number of levels. Below is the Sizzle Reel that played a major part in securing the partnership with AT&T.
Since the REVOLT Music Conference was so synonymous with Miami, Sean Combs, REVOLT and AT&T all agreed that a possible rebrand could be beneficial, so we created the REVOLT Summit. Collectively we wanted to create an event that was accessible to anyone who wanted unlock inside industry information, so we created the REVOLT Summit. The REVOLT Summit is a three-day event, held in both Atlanta an LA, and was designed to connect with our core audience and make them feel a sense of inclusion. We wanted the REVOLT Summit to be accessible to everyone, so we adjusted the price point to offer everyone an opportunity to attend.
While abstract at first sight, the REVOLT Summit logo is incredibly symbolic and identifiable. The moon acts as protection for the culture of hip hop, while the mountain symbolizes hip hop's stability and global staying power.
The promo campaign was designed to make each event feel hyper-local and here to service the community.
Event Looks.
The concept behind the overall on-the-ground look of the Summit was to be bold at all times while constantly reinforcing the REVOLT Summit branding.
This rendering shows some of the digital stage looks throughout the event.
Below are some of the actual looks, which include panels, musical performances and overall venue dressing and activations.
Social Campaign Strategy
In order to sellout the event, we knew we'd need a strong social campaign that heavily leaned on the confirmed talent, so we created small 15 second snackable talent announcements. These were designed to be easily shared throughout REVOLT, AT&T and talent platforms.
REVOLT Summit Musical Performance Screens
The REVOLT Summit performance background screens had to have lots of color, energy, and reinforce the REVOLT Summit brand. Below is an example for recording artist, Eric Bellinger.
